Selena Gomez wasn't only getting love in the building at the 2024 Emmys.
While the Only Murders in the Building star was at the Peacock Theater Sept. 15 with boyfriend Benny Blanco, hoping to take home the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series trophy, she had a very special supporter cheering her on back home.
In a video posted to Selena's Instagram Stories, her goddaughter Aubriella was seen jumping up and down yelling, "Tia, tia" as she watched the Emmys on TV.
And though the actress didn't take home the award, she still walked away a winner thanks to her cousin Priscilla Cosme's tot. "My goddaughter made my night," Selena captioned the clip. "I'm also Tia by the way." (ICYMI, Hacks' Jean Smart nabbed the trophy.)
While Selena had her goddaughter and cousin celebrating her nominations from home, she had her boyfriend (not fiancé) Benny by her side. In fact, the couple made a date night out of the award show.
Throughout the night, they couldn't keep their hands to themselves while sitting in the audience. At one point, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum was seen holding the music producer's hand, with Benny often sneaking sweet kisses in between the presentations.
For Selena, her boyfriend has remained one of her biggest cheerleaders. "I've never been loved this way," she told Vanity Fair this month. "He's just been a light. A complete light in my life. He's my best friend. I love telling him everything."
And although engagement rumors have been buzzing, she's tuning out the noise.
"We always make sure we're protecting what we have, but there's no rules," she explained. "I want him to always be himself. I always want to be myself."
As she previously gushed on Instagram, "He is my absolute everything in my heart."
Now it's your turn to be the happiest by reading on to see more of Selena and Benny's date night during the 2024 Emmys.
Selena Gomez brought Benny Blanco—her boyfriend of over a year—as her date to the 2024 Emmys.
During the ceremony, the musician kept a hand on Selena, who was nominated for her first Lead Actress Emmy for her role in Only Murders in the Building.
The couple shared a laugh in the crowd during the show, hosted by Dan Levy and Eugene Levy.
Selena wrapped an arm around Benny's shoulder as he kept a drink on hand.
At one point, he planted a kiss on the singer's cheek during the Emmys.
By the looks of their date night, they won't be single soon.
